The 4th Meeting of the Regional Coordination Committee on Disaster Health Management (RCC-DHM) on 3rd of October, 2023 in Singapore. The meeting was chaired by Singapore as the RCC-DHM Chair. It was attended by a representative of RCCDHM Members from ASEAN Member State, the Secretary of AIDHM, a representative of the ASEAN Secretariat, the RCC-DHM Secretariat, the AHA Center, as well as the Chief Advisor JICA ARCH Project Team.
One of the session meetings take up regarding handing over the role as Secretariat of ASEAN Academic Network on Disaster Health Management (AAN-DHM) and its Steering Committee to the AIDHM Secretariat as articulated in the adopted Terms of Reference (TOR) of AAN-DHM and AIDHM. This transitional was officially handed over to Dr. Bella Donna, MPH from Universitas Gadjah Mada, Indonesia as AIDHM Secretary as well as Dr. Datu Respatika, Ph.D., Sp.M as Indonesia Steering Committee. The mandates and functions of the AIDHM secretariat are managing and supporting activities related to improving academic knowledge management regarding Disaster Health Management, especially in the ASEAN region.

Building upon the the 15th ASEAN Health Ministerial Meeting (AHMM) 2022 agreed that Indonesia as the host country of the ASEAN Institute for Disaster Health Management (AIDHM) in supporting the activities of ASEAN Academic Network on DHM (AANDHM) to operationalization the Plan of Action on implement the ASEAN Leaders’ Declaration on DHM (POA–ALD on DHM). The Indonesia Ministry of Health through the Health Crisis Center cooperatively with Faculty of Medicine, Public Health and Nursing, Universitas Gadjah Mada accomplish the mandate and functions of AIDHM by establishing an AIDHM Secretariat Office at Research and Development Building Center, Faculty of Medicine, Public Health and Nursing, Universitas Gadjah Mada.
